Employment Attorney Advocating for California Employees
Simran Grewal is an attorney at Hershey Law, where she represents employees in workplace disputes and helps clients navigate some of the most challenging moments of their careers. Prior to joining Hershey Law, Ms. Grewal gained valuable experience representing both employees and employers at plaintiff-side and defense-side employment law firms.
Having worked on both sides of employment litigation, Ms. Grewal brings a well-rounded perspective to every case. Her background allows her to anticipate defense strategies while advocating for employees whose workplace rights have been violated. She understands that employment disputes can be deeply personal and emotionally difficult, and she is committed to treating every client with compassion, empathy, and respect while pursuing the strongest available path forward.
Employment Litigation Experience From Both Sides of the Case
After law school, Ms. Grewal continued building her employment law practice by representing both employers and employees in a wide range of workplace disputes. Her experience on both sides of employment litigation has given her a practical understanding of how these cases are evaluated, defended, negotiated, and litigated.
At Hershey Law, Ms. Grewal uses that perspective to advocate for employees who have experienced unlawful treatment in the workplace, including matters involving retaliation, discrimination, harassment, and wrongful termination.
Legal Education in Employment, Business, and Litigation
Ms. Grewal earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with a minor in Cognitive Science from the University of California, Los Angeles. She went on to earn her Juris Doctor from Pepperdine Caruso School of Law.

She also served as a student mentor, helping guide and support fellow law students throughout their legal education, and was an active member of the Women’s Law Association.
While studying international law in London, Ms. Grewal received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in International Investment Disputes for achieving the highest academic performance in the course. She later earned a Master of Laws with a specialization in Business Law from UCLA School of Law.
Litigation Experience in Los Angeles
Throughout law school, Ms. Grewal gained practical litigation experience while working in the Consumer Protection Division of the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office. There, she worked alongside Deputy District Attorneys Hoon Chun and Daniel Wright, assisting with trial preparation, legal research, and legal writing on matters involving consumer protection and enforcement.
