Johnny Rundell

Johnny Rundell is a partner at Hersey Law, where he runs the central litigation department. Prior to joining Hershey Law, Mr. Rundell served as the Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Carolyn Ellsworth in the Eighth Judicial District Court of Clark County, Nevada. He then worked as an associate at Carpenter, Rothans & Dumont, where he learned from one of the top defense attorneys in the country, Louis Dumont. After spending years learning the defense’s playbook, Mr. Rundell decided it was time to take what he had learned to help achieve justice for those wronged by their employers.

Mr. Rundell earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism with a minor in Marketing from California State University, Long Beach. Mr. Rundell went on to obtain his Juris Doctorate degree from Southwestern Law School.

During his law school career, Mr. Rundell fought for the rights of children and immigrants while interning at the Children’s Law Center of Los Angeles and participating in the Children’s Rights and Immigration Law Clinics and the Street Law program. As a result of his work, Mr. Rundell received the Outstanding Clinical Student Award. In addition, Mr. Rundell received academic awards for receiving the highest grade in Constitutional Criminal Procedure, the Children’s Rights Clinic, and Contracts II. Mr. Rundell was also very active in public interest work and received a public service award for his commitment.

Mr. Rundell is currently licensed with the State Bar of California and Nevada.

In his free time, Mr. Rundell enjoys relaxing with his loving wife and their two children, whether it’s at the beach, on a trail, or playing games at the house. Mr. Rundell is also an avid Laker fan and relishes getting buckets at the local rec center.
